Duncan Okubasu is a Law Lecturer at the Department of Public Law in Moi University. He is also an advocate of the High Court of Kenya involved in Constitutional and Human Rights litigation. He was, in addition, the founding Director of the Centre for Jurisprudence & Constitutional Studies at Kabarak University.

Deputy-Director of the Oxford Human Rights Hub
Meghan Campbell is the Deputy-Director of the Oxford Human Rights Hub. She is also a Law Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. She was previously the Weston Junior Research Fellow, New College, Oxford University. Her research explores how the international human rights system can best respond to gender inequality and poverty.

Former Chief Justice of the Kenyan Judiciary
Retired Chief Justice David Maraga is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) London. Before joining the Judiciary, he was in private practice for over 25 years. He was appointed Judge of the High Court in 2003 and to the Court of Appeal in 2012. He served as Presiding Judge of the regional Court of Appeal bench at Kisumu, and was the Chair of the Judiciary Committee on Elections (JCE). He has received numerous awards in recognition of his defence of the rule of law.

Victoria Miyandazi is a Law Lecturer at the University of Embu, Associate Advocate at Okubasu, Munene & Kazungu Advocates LLP and a former Researcher at the Oxford Human Rights Hub. She mainly teaches and writes on Equality Law, Human Rights, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Property Law and Comparative Law.

Sandra Fredman is a Professor of the Laws of the British Commonwealth and the USA at Oxford University, professorial fellow at Oxford’s Pembroke College, Founder and Director of the Oxford Human Rights Hub. She has published widely on human rights, labour law and equality law. Her books include Women and the Law, Discrimination Law, Human Rights Transformed and Comparative Human Rights. She was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2005 and became a QC (honoris causa) in 2012.

Patricia Kameri-Mbote is a Professor of Law at the School of Law, University of Nairobi, where she was also the first female Dean.
